labyrinth is an ancient symbol of life's journey.
Ariadne, queen and goddess of ancient Crete, held the thread which guided one safely through the labyrinth. In this silk painting, Megaera has placed the labyrinth in Ariadne's belly, to signify the Inner Journey. |
